Eduardo C. Corral is the son of Mexican immigrants. He's the author of Guillotine (Graywolf Press) and Slow Lightning, which won the Yale Series of Younger Poets Competition. He’s the recipient of a Whiting Writers’ Award, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and a Hodder Fellowship from Princeton University. He teaches in the MFA program at North Carolina State University.

Justin Jannise is the author of How to Be Better by Being Worse, which won the A. Poulin, Jr. Poetry Prize and is forthcoming from BOA Editions, Ltd., in April 2021. His writing has appeared in Best New Poets, Best of the Net, Copper Nickel, Yale Review, Poetry Northwest, and New Ohio Review. Recently a recipient of the Inprint Verlaine Prize in Poetry and the Editor-in-Chief of Gulf Coast, Justin lives here in Houston, where he is pursuing his Ph.D.

Paige Quiñones is a fourth year PhD student in poetry. She has worked as the Poetry Editor at The Journal at Ohio State University and the Managing Editor of Gulf Coast. Her work has appeared in The Adroit Journal, Copper Nickel, Juked, McSweeney’s, Muzzle Magazine, Southeast Review, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Quarterly West, and elsewhere. She has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and Best New Poets. Her first poetry collection, The Best Prey, won the Lena-Miles Wever Todd Prize at Pleiades Press and is forthcoming in February 2021.
