Jari Chevalier’s poems have appeared or are forthcoming in American Literary Review, Barrow Street, Beloit Poetry Journal, Boulevard, Cimarron Review, The Massachusetts Review, Ploughshares, and many other literary journals. In 2014 she received a Merit Award in the Atlanta Review's International Poetry contest and was a finalist in Ploughshares Emerging Writers competition. Jari Chevalier holds an MA in Creative Writing from CCNY where she studied with the late William Matthews. She served as a contributing editor to the poetry journal Barrow Street during its first five years.
